Photoshop Tutorial Quest
Your challenge is to find, use and report on 2 (two) Photoshop tutorials of your own choosing.
There are A LOT of tutorial sites, so I haven't put many links here (plus the temptation to Rickroll is just too great).
Step 1
You are to go on the *Interwebs and search for Photoshop Tutorials--(you may want to specify the version of Photoshop that you are using). Find ones that appeal to you, that you could imagine using on one of your own projects.
Step 2
Using a photograph that you have already taken, you will create 1 image employing each of your chosen tutorials and post them to your Blog along with the original image and a written critique of the 2 tutorials (Was it easy to follow? Was the effect consistent with the example? Can it be applied to any image? Etc.).
*There are thousands, nay 10's of thousands of Photoshop videos on YouTube, but it's difficult to verify their quality until you've gotten a ways into it. Another option is to find a site that specializes in PS Tutorials where they are are thoroughly vetted.
A search for "photoshop tutorials" will give you a pretty broad selection (about 292,000,000 results). If you want to narrow your scope, refine your search terms by adding specifics. Searching for "photoshop retouching tutorials" yields 6,230,000 results--far fewer, but within a narrower range.

Finally, you may want to look at YouTube channels that are set up specifically for Photoshop information. "Phlearn" is one of those--the link to their channel is here:
